The layout of the Centre is shown on the floor plan below.

  • The Centre is of purpose-built brick construction covering some 470 square metres
  • All floors in the main rooms are wood, making them safe for activities and suitable for sleeping on (sleeping mats are available)
  • There are full toilet and shower facilities for male, female and disabled users and First Aid facilities
  • Central heating is provided throughout the Centre, allowing all-year use
  • Stacking chairs and tables are available

Outside the main entrance is a large paved play area with forest and river access close by.

The main areas of the Centre are:

  • Breckland Room - 11.6m x 10.5m. With servery from kitchen

  • Burton Room - 10.7m x 9.7m. Can be divided into two separate rooms

  • Sandells Room - 9.1m x 4.2m. Furnished for committee use and more often used for leader accommodation

  • Kitchen - 7.7m x 5.3m. Fully equipped with cookers, fridges, freezers, microwave oven and crockery and cutlery for up to one hundred people

  • Toilets - Male, female and unisex disabled facilities

  • Showers - Male, female and unisex disabled facilities

  • First Aid Room - also contains single bed
