2009 AGM: Tuesday 21st April
7.30pm at the the Bidwell Centre

All those with an interest in the Centre and the Site are welcome

The 2007 10th Anniversary AGM was held at the Centre on 24th April 2007. The occasion was marked by something far more significant than that. The Centre's long-standing Caretaker, Shirley Croker, was awarded the County Commissioner's Commendation (that's commendation, not condemnation) from Margaret Stansbie on behalf of Norfolk Guides, and the Scouts' Thanks Badge from John Sweeney on behalf of Norfolk Scouts.

As Shirley has announced wish to retire - we'll allow her to slow down a bit anyway - this year, her constant hard work for the Centre could not be allowed to go unrecognised in wider circles for any longer, particularly as the original idea for the Bidwell Centre was partially Shirley's own... all she wanted was a store for the Guide equipment, and look what that has lead to!
