The surrounding Two Mile Bottom Scout camp site has been in use since 1982 and can offer users of the Centre the following activities:

  •  New Abseil and Climbing Tower
  •  Archery
  •  River access for canoeing (the site owns an expanding fleet of canoes and kayaks)

Whilst the Centre and the site operate independently from one another, they do share the same Booking Secretary. Therefore, wherever possible, please try to book your site activities at the same time you make your accommodation booking with the Centre.

The camp site also has its own toilet block with hot and cold running water, showers and separate facilities for leaders. If you are considering a large-scale camp then the site, coupled with the facilities offered by the Bidwell Centre as an all-weather location, offers a comprehensive accommodation solution.
